  • There are 7 modules - Clinical Research, Pharmacology, Pharmacovigilance, Case Processing, Aggregate Report, Risk Management and Signal Detection.
  • In these modules, students are taught a lot things that will help them in their jobs, such as - principles of pharmacy and pharmacology, how to set up a pharmacovigilance centre, how to manage pharmacovigilance data, risk management in pharmacovigilance, ethics and guidelines in clinical research, clinical trial documentation, quality in clinical trials and more.

  • The entry level job in Pharmacovigilance is DSA -Drug Safety Associate. Their salary is around Rs. 35000 to Rs. 50000 per month.
  • With 2-3 years of experience, you can get promoted to a DSS - Drug Safety Scientist. Their salary is around Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1,50,000 per month.
  • After 7-10 years of experience, you can become a Team Leader/Manager with an accompanying higher hike in salary.
  • Chances of travelling within and outside India.
